When I left the workplace in 1987 to focus on my family and be a stay at home mom, I was introduced to the MLM model.  During that time I successfully provided additional income for my family, learned the power of owning your own business, and grew as a person through the lessons I learned. Through the MLM model, I was afforded the opportunity to sell products, manage my ever-growing base of salespeople and create my own business that allowed me to be the best I could be; not only in business, but in all the aspects of my life. Number one to me: being a mom.

When it came time to return to the workplace, I worked tirelessly for other people; learning everything I could about running a business without being an owner and without being paid like an owner too! The education I received was priceless and well worth all the time and effort. When the company I worked for in 2002 decided not to continue on the path they were on, I had to watch a great many people lose their jobs and I was the last "woman" standing; it was then I made the decision to open my own business. I knew I had to be my own boss.  I am now the owner of three successful telecommunications firms that operate nationally. The model for my companies is to provide continuous support and education for the over 300 agents that work with us and to strive to help them grow as independent sales representatives.  We promote from within, hire friends, family, people from church and others we know in need of work.  Experience doesn't make a great employee - I believe anybody can be successful with the right support and training.

When the iZigg opportunity presented itself to me, it just seemed like a natural fit.  The principles that govern my current businesses translated perfectly into the iZigg model. And similarly to how my employees often attribute their successes; to the guidance and education I provide, I can only attribute mine to my superior's radical dedication in supporting my growth. 

We all have the ability to be successful, we just have to find it within ourselves to go out and get it. We all know that life does not always turn out as planned. I married my childhood sweetheart, had two beautiful children together, but sadly, that relationship ended in divorce. I then married my best friend, Michael. That relationship brought me a wonderful stepson. We had 11 wonderful years together until he passed away in 2005.  Now, God has chosen to lead me into another family with Paul; who also lost the love of his life. We are now engaged, adding two more children to my life. One of his children has Down syndrome. She brings joy to me every day and I learn from her. Paul and I are doing iZigg together and are so excited to be in business together!  I am sharing my story because I want you to know we all have obstacles and are pressed for time. But it's how we choose to approach and learn from the challenges presented in our lives and to use our time, that will separate us in the end as a success or a failure. I heard at one of the meetings: The difference between success and failure is that success is getting up one more time than you fall.

In the seven weeks that I have been an agent with iZigg, I've attended Crush It!, witnessed a transformation in myself as a person, and had the opportunity to work with the best agents in this business. As a true believer in knowledge translates to power, I was able to work with the AMAZING Bill Rowland, who came to Long Island for five days and worked around the clock to speak to potential agents, train current agents, and helped me to grow.  WE have added 35 agents in the past 2 weeks!!! Brian Underwood flew to New York City to meet with the team in Times Square and Jason Borne will be here this week to meet with 100 new faces in our second Long Island event.
